What leaves your Mac
CronMon makes exactly two kinds of network call on its own: license validation to Polar (your license key, an activation id, and your Mac's name so the portal list is readable), at most once a day; and update checks to GitHub, which fetch the appcast. There is no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no account.
CronMon reads your crontab and the launchd property lists on this Mac, and sends none of it anywhere.
This website
getcronmon.com uses Google Analytics to count visits. Downloads are served by GitHub; purchases are handled by Polar, whose privacy policy covers checkout.
What stays on your Mac
Your license key and trial start (Keychain), your preferences, the cron runs CronMon observed while it was running, and the crontab backups it writes before enabling or disabling a line (~/Library/Application Support/CronMon/crontab-backups/). CronMon reads your crontab, the launchd property lists in the agent and daemon directories, what launchctl print reports, and your local mailbox at /var/mail/ when it exists, to show a job's last output. It writes nothing but the one crontab line you ask it to comment out or restore.
Purchases
Polar is the merchant of record. We see your email and license key; we do not see card details. After you buy, Polar shows you a discount code for our other apps. We send no other email.
